Mike Boswood, President & CEO
Mike Boswood

Mike Boswood is president and chief executive officer of the Healthcare & Science business, part of the Professional Division of Thomson Reuters and a leading provider of decision support solutions that help organizations across the healthcare industry improve clinical and business performance.

Mr. Boswood joined Thomson in 1997, and most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Thomson International Legal & Regulatory. There, he led the development and execution strategies to grow Thomson's legal and regulatory businesses outside of North America, particularly through investment in online services, most notably local Westlaw services.

Prior to joining Thomson, Mr. Boswood held a number of senior positions at Reed Elsevier in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States. His roles included serving as managing director of Elsevier Science Ltd., as joint managing director of Elsevier Science Publishers BV and as president of Elsevier Science Inc.

Mr. Boswood received his bachelor's degree in history and philosophy from the University of Kent at Canterbury. He currently sits on the board of the Institute of Physics Publishing as a non-executive director.

 
Jon Brett-Harris, Executive Vice President of Life Sciences
Jon-Brett Harris

Jon Brett-Harris is Executive Vice President of the Life Sciences Strategic Business Unit for Healthcare & Science. His responsibilities include the IDRAC, Newport, Astrolabe PIA and CMR businesses.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters in March 2006, Jon held management and leadership roles within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. He had also operated his own company with activities focused on pharmaceutical licensing, venture funding and executive coaching.

Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Economics and an MBA, both from the University of London.

 
Keith MacGregor, Executive Vice President of the Scientific & Scholarly Research Strategic Business Unit
Keith MacGregor

Keith MacGregor is Executive Vice President of the Scientific & Scholarly Research Strategic Business Unit of Healthcare & Science. Previously, Keith served as the Senior Vice President of Academic and Government Market Development for the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Keith joined Thomson ISI in 1994 as Vice President of Editorial and Product Development and was closely involved in the development and launch of Web of Science in 1997.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Keith held senior management positions with International Data Group (IDG) in their computer newsletter business and with Warren, Gorham & Lamont, where he was a Senior Vice President of their Tax Publishing Division.

 
Andrea Degutis, Senior Vice President, HR & Communications
Andrea Deguits

Andrea Degutis joined Thomson Reuters in July 2002 as Senior Vice President, HR & Communications for Thomson Scientific. She is responsible for global HR strategy as well as internal and external communications. Andrea has extensive human resources experience in the information publishing industry, having held senior human resources positions with the Wolters Kluwer International Health & Science business for 12 years and, earlier in her career, with S.B. Saunders Company/CBS. She has also directed human resources planning in the banking and diversified services management industries.

Andrea holds a BA in Languages from Temple University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Bet Kappa.

 
Kevin McCurry, Senior Vice President of Business Strategy
Kevin McCurry

Kevin McCurry is Senior Vice President of Business Strategy at the Healthcare & Science business of Thomson Reuters. He is responsible for the analysis of industry, market, customer, technology, and competitive trends and opportunities.

Prior to joining Thomson Scientific, Kevin was most recently a Partner in the Strategy Practice of IBM's Business Consulting Services. His consulting career also includes working with leading academics from Harvard Business School and MIT while at Integral/Analysis Group, a strategy consulting firm specializing in Innovation Management, Product Development, and Technology Strategy. Kevin began his career in Finance with General Electric in their Aircraft Engine Division where he held several positions.

Kevin has an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration with distinction, and a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College.

 
Steve Quinn, Senior Vice President, Business Process
Steve Quinn

Steve Quinn first joined Thomson Reuters in 1986 working in Manhattan for WG&L. In 1990, he moved to Philadelphia to join what was then the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). For many years, he was responsible for the operations management and data production units. Steve has taken on different responsibilities recently as SVP - Business Process. His responsibilities include integration management of acquired companies. Additionally, Steve is responsible for the identification of process change opportunities and executing those plans to reap greater efficiencies, as well as product quality and expediency improvements.

Steve graduated with a history degree from CW Post University in 1978. After a short stint teaching high school, he spent several years in the consumer lending division of the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.

 
Tony Lucia, Senior Vice President and CTO
Tony Lucia

Tony Lucia rejoined Thomson Reuters in July 2006 as Senior Vice President and CTO, for Thomson Scientific. He is responsible for developing global Information Technology strategy, content management systems and driving innovation throughout TS product portfolio.

Tony has over 15 years of cross-functional management experience in both technology and business disciplines for domestic and international markets working for major Fortune 500 companies as well as Internet Start-ups.

Tony formerly worked at the Thomson Tax & Accounting (TTA) group for approximately twelve years and has held various technology related leadership positions at Reed Elsevier, Northstar Media, and Editions Atlas International.

 
Mark Garlinghouse, Senior Vice President of Healthcare & Science, Asia Pacific
Mark Garlinghouse

Mark Garlinghouse is Senior Vice President of Healthcare & Science, Asia Pacific. He is based in the Singapore Office. Since joining Thomson Reuters in 1998, Mark has guided the business sales growth in Asia, opening offices in Beijing, Seoul, Sydney, Bangalore and Taipei and Singapore. He has developed a team of professionals who introduce Healthcare & Science solutions to the region and, in turn, highlight area needs to Thomson Reuters.

Mark has been based in Asia for 15 years, employed in various sales and marketing roles for companies in the information services industry. He has completed master’s level work at the Nanjing campus of The John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. His bachelor’s degree from Stanford University is in East Asian Studies.
