IntroductionJournal Use Reports allows you to view and analyze journal use and performance statistics at your institution. Data is gathered from a variety of sources, including:

  • Journal Citation Reports (five years of performance and citation data)

  • Web of Science (five years of citation data)

  • Holdings (your institution's library collection)

  • Vendor Usage (your institution's journal usage data)

All journal titles, along with the data collected from these sources, appear in Journal Use Reports. To effectively use the product, you must upload the journal data in your institution's Holdings and Vendor Usage files using the Journal Use Reports Upload Utility. Your uploaded data is then analyzed against our journal data in Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports.

For more information about the Upload Utility, see our Journal Use Reports Upload Utility tutorial.
