Expanded Refine Results — In Web of Science, the Refine Results feature allows you to narrow your search results by:

  • Subject Areas
  • Document Types
  • Authors
  • Source Titles
  • Publication Years
  • Conference Titles
  • Institutions
  • Languages
  • Countries/Territories

In this example, we are refining our results by Subject Areas. After you click Refine, the system takes you to an updated Results page which displays only those records related to your selected subject areas.
